CLUB KIJKDOOS

Roos Keetels, Deanne Warnaar, Emma Dijksterhuis, Miekie Capello and me, we share an art studio. We call ourselves Club Kijkdoos. Sometimes we do workshops and exhibitions. We are not the usual collective, if you can even call us that. I do sometimes. It’s a lovely group of artists who like to organise things together. When we come into the space, the first thing we do is look at the new art we made. It’s cute and supportive. Our studio is located in “de koepelgevangenis” in Breda.

WORKSHOP: “Jij, ik en de hele poppenkast”

Together with Club Kijkdoos and some lovely visitors we made dolls. These dolls will be used later in a theatre/performance/movie where they all come together through a script that’s based on the conversations during the workshops. The big ear helped us to secretly listen to all the visitors.
